A global consulting firm is hiring a Senior PMI Consultant to support high-impact corporate finance and transformation initiatives, including M&A integration and large-scale operational change.
This role offers exposure to complex projects across finance, operations, IT, and governance, working closely with senior stakeholders in a global consulting environment. You will play a key role in delivering practical transformation outcomes while strengthening long-term enterprise value.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects as PMO, driving business transformation and system implementation initiatives
- Design and enhance consolidated and standalone financial close processes, supporting faster month-end and year-end closing
- Build and improve management accounting frameworks to strengthen enterprise performance management
- Design and integrate business processes, including shared services implementation and J-SOX compliance
- Conduct due diligence across business, operations, IT, finance, and HR in M&A transactions
- Support business planning and IT system implementation through requirements definition and process design
- Support overseas subsidiary setup and coordinate stakeholders using English communication
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Professional experience with a consulting firm (strategy consulting, Big 4 or equivalent), PE firms, or advisory practices
- OR 3+ years of experience in corporate headquarters functions, such as corporate planning or financial accounting
- OR 3+ years of experience in advisory roles within audit firms
- Hands-on involvement in M&A, carve-out, or group reorganisation projects or similar
- Presentation skills
Soft Skills:
- Strong project execution and delivery capability
- Highly developed logical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to coordinate across multiple functions and stakeholders
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Business level or above
- English: Business level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience supporting PMI, business integration, or enterprise transformation
- Exposure to strategy, PE, or M&A-focused consulting projects
