Join a leading global consulting firm as a Senior Consultant specializing in M&A, strategy, and PMI within the financial services sector.
In this role, you will work on end-to-end deal lifecycle projects, from strategic planning and due diligence through to execution and post-merger integration (PMI). This is a high-impact opportunity to collaborate with top-tier clients and develop expertise in M&A strategy, joint ventures, and corporate transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of corporate strategy, business strategy, and M&A strategy.
- Conduct feasibility studies (business assessments) for new initiatives and investments.
- Perform business due diligence and commercial due diligence.
- Lead and execute operational due diligence processes.
- Provide advisory support for PMI (Post-Merger Integration) and assist in business planning.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Experience in a consulting firm with involvement in research, strategy development, and project management.
- Hands-on experience in strategy consulting or advisory projects.
- Experience in financial institutions in areas such as planning, investment, or project-based roles.
- Practical experience in M&A or investment-related work.
- Additional experience at corporates (CFO/COO functions) or private equity firms is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical capability.
- Proven project management skills in complex environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Business level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
