In this Tokyo-based contract role, you'll act as the technical liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless implementations and exceptional support of mission-critical financial systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical bridge between internal teams and clients during implementation and post-go-live phases
- Support configuration and platform rollout, collaborating directly with client teams
- Provide incident and change management, system troubleshooting, and optimization
- Deliver ongoing client support, product guidance, and training
- Lead client review meetings and ensure service levels through SLA monitoring
- Promote service improvements through automation and reusable assets
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 7+ years supporting mission-critical Java applications
- 5+ years in financial services, 3+ in client-facing or coordination roles
Technical Skills:
- SQL/NoSQL, RESTful API testing (e.g., Postman), deployment of core systems
- Incident/change management, SLA reporting, and documentation
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication, client relationship management, and attention to detail
- Comfortable in fast-paced environments with cross-functional collaboration
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Fluent
- English: Intermediate to Business level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of PCI DSS compliance standards
- Experience with Visa/Mastercard payment processing ecosystems
