A global IT consulting firm with a strong presence in Japan is seeking an experienced SAP Consultant / Senior Consultant to support large-scale SAP-driven business transformation and DX initiatives.
You will work on long-term projects for both Japanese and multinational clients, with assignments aligned to your career goals and technical strengths, allowing you to deepen SAP expertise while delivering high-impact consulting value.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end support across SAP implementation and enhancement projects, including requirements definition, design, configuration, testing, and data migration.
- Conduct business process interviews with clients and perform Fit & Gap analysis.
- Design and coordinate cross-module SAP integration across business and system domains.
- Drive projects in collaboration with global and offshore teams.
- Provide post-go-live support, user training, and continuous improvement proposals.
- Manage project progress and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Support ongoing DX and business transformation initiatives using SAP.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Hands-on experience as an SAP Consultant (any module).
- Practical knowledge of SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience coordinating with business and IT stakeholders.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Logical thinking with a practical problem-solving mindset.
- Team-oriented attitude with strong ownership and initiative.
- Flexibility to adapt in fast-changing project environments.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level or equivalent (JLPT N2/N1 required)
- English: Intermediate to Business level for professional communication
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- SAP module experience such as FI/CO, MM/SD, PP/QM, WM/EWM, PM, HR, SuccessFactors.
- Full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation experience.
- SAP Certifications.
