A global investment bank is seeking an experienced Regional Financial Institutions Sales professional to drive cross-asset solutions for Japan's regional banking clients. This high-impact role focuses on non-flow fixed income products, including QIS, and offers the opportunity to work with a globally recognized platform, leveraging deep client relationships and product knowledge to deliver strategic value.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide cross-asset product coverage to regional financial institutions in Japan
- Focus on non-flow fixed income solutions, including QIS and structured products
- Drive revenue by identifying and executing sales opportunities
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with regional bank clients
- Collaborate with internal trading, structuring, and research teams for client delivery
- Provide market updates and investment insights tailored to client portfolios
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of Regional Financial Institutions Sales experience in an investment bank in Japan
- Proven track record in cross-asset or fixed income product coverage
Technical & Functional Skills:
- In-depth understanding of fixed income and structured products, including QIS
- Ability to engage credibly with institutional clients and internal stakeholders
Soft Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Strategic thinking and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Native level (written and spoken)
- English: Business level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in non-flow fixed income product structuring or sales
- Knowledge of macroeconomic trends affecting regional institutions in Japan
