Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute PR and communications strategies for the Japan market from concept to delivery
- Write and distribute press releases and manage relationships with media outlets and journalists
- Organise PR events, interviews, and campaigns to strengthen brand awareness and exposure
- Monitor media coverage, analyse performance, and report results to internal stakeholders
- Manage and update owned media channels, including the corporate website
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in PR or communications within consumer-facing or digital industries
- Strong experience handling press and media, with a proven network or track record
- Experience creating public-facing materials and managing projects independently
- Proven ability to operate in a small, fast-moving organisation
Soft Skills:
- Hands-on, proactive, and self-motivated approach
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently with high ownership and accountability
- Adaptable mindset suited to a dynamic, changing environment
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native
- English: Basic (for internal communication)
