Roles/Responsibilities
- Oversee BI/data platform delivery projects with databases like Microsoft SQL, SSAS, and SSIS and tools like Power BI.
- Create and put into use data sources and models for BI and reporting needs.
- Standardize BI data and reporting, to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Encourage a self-service analytics culture.
- Make sure all best practices and data governance requirements are followed.
- Gather data related requirements from business teams across the organization, such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, and others.
Required skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer information systems, business administration, or a related field.
- A track record of successfully managing BI/data platform delivery projects and creating data models (at least 4 years).
- Strong familiarity with databases and BI tools, especially Microsoft products.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities for working across functional boundaries.
- Dedication to best practices in data management and business analytics.
- Strong written, oral, listening, and executive presentation communication and persuasion skills.
- Japanese: fluent or above
- English: intermediate or above
