A leading global luxury group is seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to oversee HR systems, operations, and strategic cross-functional initiatives across its portfolio of brands in Japan. This position plays a vital role in driving continuous improvement in HR service delivery, ensuring compliance, and supporting HR teams with daily operations, Workday optimization, and leadership development. You will work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment that values creativity, structure, and results.
Support the Head of HR Shared Services with all HR operations, including HRIS, data integrity, process improvement, and ad-hoc HR initiatives
Lead HR operations projects, such as system upgrades, process rollouts, and workflow optimizations
Use Workday to drive efficiency, manage transactions, and deliver consistent HR support
Provide daily HR services across multiple brands, ensuring operational excellence
Manage timelines, deliverables, and budgets for HR initiatives and projects
Guide and coach the HR team by setting clear expectations and supporting capability development
Ensure compliance with local employment laws and corporate policies
Minimum 8 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on operations
Bachelor's degree or higher
Proficiency in Workday and understanding of HR systems and workflows
Solid knowledge of HR policies and employment law in Japan
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Proven ability to lead cross-functional HR initiatives from planning to execution
Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Japanese: Native level
English: Intermediate to Business level
Experience working in multinational or luxury retail organizations
Familiarity with performance, learning, or DE&I program implementation
Knowledge of international HR standards or system integration projects
