As a Haken Full-Stack Engineer, you will develop high-scale, data-driven systems that translate complex business requirements into reliable technical solutions. Working with international teams across Tokyo, Singapore, India, and China, you'll take ownership of end-to-end delivery in a fast-paced environment where engineering excellence, innovation, and impact at scale are key.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end development from requirements gathering and system design to coding and implementation
- Maintain high code quality through peer reviews, unit testing, and continuous improvement
- Manage deployment and monitoring operations across DEV, STG, and PROD environments
- Collaborate with cross-border engineering teams, project managers, and DevOps to deliver products smoothly
- Research and integrate emerging AI tools and models to help shape future-ready platform roadmaps
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack software development
- Strong expertise in system design and implementation within Agile/Scrum environments
- Direct experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Windsurf
Soft Skills:
- Proactive self-starter with strong ownership and a results-driven mindset
- Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical discussions
- High resilience and ability to deliver quality under pressure
Language Requirements:
- English: Fluent (required for daily collaboration)
- Japanese: Basic level acceptable (not required)
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, and data pipeline architecture
- Proficiency with frontend frameworks such as ReactJS or AngularJS
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and automated testing frameworks (JUnit)
