Key Responsibilities
- Support and lead international compliance projects and contribute to the development of new financial risk management frameworks.
- Validate quantitative exposure metrics associated with new banking product launches.
- Enhance operational systems and processes to strengthen financial risk controls and corporate finance security.
- Prepare analytical validation reports and summaries for executive boards and regulatory authorities.
- Review and audit system inputs to ensure accurate counterparty risk monitoring and exposure tracking.
- Help maintain the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of operational risk data.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of institutional credit risk infrastructure.
- Assess counterparty stability and support broader financial risk management activities.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders across an international banking environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- More than 1 year of professional experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proficiency with standard office and administrative productivity software.
- Ability to work with quantitative financial and operational data.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when evaluating complex quantitative datasets.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to identify inconsistencies in financial and operational data.
- Eagerness to develop knowledge of financial instruments, including FX (Foreign Exchange).
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders in a global financial institution.
- Willingness to continuously develop knowledge across financial risk, banking products, and operational systems.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level.
- English: Intermediate to Business level.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in middle-office operations within banking or financial services.
- Exposure to banking strategy or related financial services functions.
- Knowledge of VBA (Visual Basic for Applications).
- Knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language).
