Join a global professional services firm as an Associate Partner / Partner in Cybersecurity Consulting, leading high-impact cybersecurity transformation for major organisations across financial services, manufacturing, telecommunications, technology, and the public sector in Japan.
Based in Tokyo, you will advise clients across Cybersecurity Strategy, Cyber Risk Management, Security Governance, Cloud Security, Zero Trust, Incident Response, and AI Security, connecting complex technology challenges with business strategy and enterprise risk.
In addition, you will build trusted relationships with CISO, CIO, CDO, and other C-level executives, develop new client accounts, create innovative cybersecurity services and solutions, and build and mentor high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of Cybersecurity Strategy and Transformation programmes, including strategic roadmaps and governance models aligned with clients' corporate and business objectives.
- Advise major organisations on Cyber Risk Management, including cyber risk assessments, ERM integration, risk appetite, security governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead security transformation across Zero Trust, Cloud Security, IAM, SOC, EDR, Security Architecture, and AI Security.
- Build long-term relationships with CISO, CIO, CDO, and other C-level executives, identifying business challenges and converting them into strategic consulting opportunities.
- Drive new business development through client acquisition, account strategy, proposal development, and your professional network and market expertise.
- Develop new cybersecurity services, solutions, methodologies, and consulting assets based on market demand and leading international practices.
- Grow the Cybersecurity Consulting practice through recruitment, team building, talent development, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Over 10 years of relevant professional experience, including significant experience in cybersecurity consulting or advisory.
- Proven experience advising CISO, CIO, or other senior executives on cybersecurity strategy, risk, and transformation.
- Deep expertise in one or more areas such as Cyber Risk, Security Governance, Security Architecture, Cloud Security, SOC, or Incident Response.
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale cybersecurity engagements or multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity business development, consulting proposals, and account management.
- Bachelor's degree.

- Ability to understand executive business challenges and position cybersecurity as a source of business value, rather than solely as a technical requirement.
- Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to establish long-term trust with CISO, CIO, and other executive stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to structure complex challenges and translate strategy into execution.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mobilise multidisciplinary specialists and maximise team performance.
- Entrepreneurial and commercially focused mindset with the ability to identify new opportunities arising from changes in technology, regulation, and market conditions.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level.
- English: Intermediate to business level, with the ability to collaborate with international teams and specialists.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience as a CISO, CSO, or senior cybersecurity leader with responsibility for security strategy and organisational management.
- Revenue ownership or P&L management experience within cybersecurity consulting or services.
- Deep industry expertise in financial services, manufacturing, telecommunications, technology, or the public sector.
- Advanced expertise in Zero Trust, Cloud Security, IAM, SOC, Security Architecture, OT Security, or AI Security.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
- Professional cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC.
- Experience working on global projects and collaborating with overseas teams in English.
- Management experience within a global professional services firm, consulting firm, SIer, or cybersecurity vendor.
