Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and metrics to ensure software quality and efficiency.
- Oversee governance, defect management, and release management, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Integrate testing practices within agile methodologies, managing workflows through Jira.
- Lead and mentor the testing team, reviewing test cases, scripts, and results for accuracy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and product owners on requirements, walkthroughs, and testing outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in software testing, with strong focus on test planning, metrics, and governance.
- Proven leadership skills in guiding and mentoring testing teams.
Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in agile methodologies and defect management tools such as Jira.
- Solid understanding of SDLC and certified in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
- Familiarity with automated testing tools.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Intermediate to Business level.
- English: Intermediate to Business level.
