Manage overall project throughout the project lifecycle collaborating with various stakeholders such as Customer Relationship Management Team (Pre-Sales) for initiation, planning and delivery with internal and external delivery teams including off-shore contributors, operational handover to customer and the project closure while building excellent relationships with the customer for potential business opportunities.
Fully responsible for day-to-day project management expected to reveal edge and apply proven project management flamework(s) as appropriate. Project Managers own project plans, that include master schedule and WBS, cost, scope, risk and issue, action, decision, dependency, communication and escalation plan and successful execution of the plans.
The PM is expected to have strong communication and problem-solving skills as the prime and single contact point of the project while possessing ability to make appropriate escalations.
Target customers are both domestic and global entities who are in Japan such as enterprise, public sectors, telecommunication carriers and other service providers.
PMP and/or PRINCE2 (Strongly desired)
Fluent in Japanese, business level English (High business proficiency or better is a plus)
5 years + experience in IT industry with good hands-on experience with full project lifecycle. Prefer candidate with strong ability for project scoping, cost, and risk management.
Worked with multi-cultural global company, multi-language project management experience.
Project Management experience for complex system integration style implementation projects with networking technology
Technical skill, knowledge and experience in systems integration, network level routing and switching and IP traffic handling.
