M&A Analyst - Associate Investment Banker

Job Description

A reputable, highly respected investment & capital markets firm named

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Actively engage in origination and execution of M&A transactions (both buy-side and sell-side) in selected industry coverage(s)
  • Advise clients on M&A execution process in various industries with a focus on large cap / cross-border transactions
  • Support senior bankers and manage overall execution management including external / internal communication, negotiation, transaction structuring, documentation, valuation, due-diligence and timeline
  • Mentoring, supporting and developing new / junior bankers
  • Perform and keep up-to-date market & financial analysis

Required skills

  • Native Japanese, business fluency English
  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferably in business, mathematics, accounting, finance a plus
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years M&A experience in reputable securities firm
  • High-level of attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, good communication and negotiation, time management skills
  • Good understanding of financial modeling and valuation
