AI Project Manager

Job Description

Client-facing Project Management/AI Consultant position in international AI technology company.

Roles/Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients about their problem and judge if it can be solved with AI technology, and if so, how.
• Define needs and requirements in a clear manner, and discuss possible solutions with the technology team.
• Manage development projects with the engineering team and ensure complete and swift delivery to clients.
• Based on previous systems and deliveries, devise new AI products that can be brought to the market that will benefit a wider audience.

Required skills

• Ability to gain trust from both the client as well as the internal teams by managing expectations, providing clear instructions, and giving continuous support.
• Understanding of or strong interest in the AI field.
• 5+ years of managing IT development projects for BtoB clients in Japan.
• Ability to solve complex problems with a logical approach and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to both business users, as well as engineers and researchers.
• Understanding of technical architecture of applications.
• Native level of Japanese, business level of English or higher.
