We're partnering with a leading financial services organisation on a major Claims Modernisation program and are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to join a high-profile Data & AI delivery stream.
This is not a traditional BA role.
You will sit at the intersection of Claims, Data, AI and delivery, helping shape and deliver initiatives focused on Property and Motor Claims through data-driven and AI-enabled solutions.
Working closely with Claims stakeholders, Product Owners, Architects, Data & AI specialists and delivery teams, you will bring clarity to complex problems, support discovery and POCs, and help ensure initiatives are practical, well-governed and aligned to business outcomes.
What you'll be doing:
- Partner with Property and Motor Claims stakeholders to define problems, outcomes and success measures
- Support discovery, intake and triage of Data & AI initiatives
- Shape and support proofs of concept, pilots and early-stage solution thinking
- Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements, process flows and acceptance criteria
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder sessions and requirements walkthroughs
- Manage Jira Cloud epics, stories and delivery artefacts
- Produce structured Confluence documentation including discovery outputs, decisions, RAID and process flows
- Work closely with technical teams to understand dependencies, data flows and delivery feasibility
- Support Agile delivery including backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing and implementation activities
- Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies early
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as a Senior Technical Business Analyst
- Mandatory insurance experience, specifically within Property and Motor Claims
- Strong Agile delivery capability
- Advanced Jira Cloud and Confluence experience
- Experience operating within large, regulated enterprise environments
- Strong discovery, POC and pilot experience
- Understanding of data concepts including quality, governance, privacy and lineage
- Practical understanding of AI and Generative AI concepts, including governance, risks and human review considerations
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
- Ability to challenge ambiguity and shape clear delivery outcomes
