We're partnering with a leading financial services organisation on a major finance transformation program, building a Finance Data Hub and driving best practice across ERP and feeder systems.
This is a high-impact, hands-on advisory role for a senior professional who can challenge the status quo, define finance data solutions, and influence the target-state design. You'll work with Finance, Data and Technology to ensure a scalable, accurate, and future-proof finance data landscape.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Defining finance data requirements across GL, regulatory and management reporting.
- Collaborating with the Data Office and technical teams to ensure data standards, dictionaries and governance are implemented.
- Challenging legacy processes and proposing innovative, practical improvements.
- Shaping the target-state finance data solutions to support reporting and transformation goals.
- Partnering with stakeholders across Finance, Data and Technology to translate requirements into actionable solutions.
- Focusing on future-state outcomes - ensuring finance data is structured, auditable, and fit-for-purpose.
To succeed, you will offer:
- Strong finance and ERP system experience with exposure to data governance.
- Understanding of finance data flows and reporting requirements.
- Experience in finance transformation programs or large-scale change initiatives.
- Ability to influence stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and implement best practice.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- General Insurance / IFRS 17 experience is a plus, but not essential.
