Senior Business Analyst - Digital Transformation

We are working with a leading insurer on a major multi-year digital transformation program and we're looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join the delivery team.

This is a hands-on role within an Agile delivery squad, working on new digital initiatives including the transformation of an existing customer portal and its integration with backend platforms. The program also has an AI component, making this a particularly interesting opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of customer experience, technology and business change.

You'll work closely with an experienced Product Owner, Platform Heads, Architects, Engineers and business stakeholders to shape and deliver complex digital change.

You'll be responsible for understanding the problem, challenging assumptions, identifying impacts and translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements for the delivery team.

You'll be involved across:

• Leading discovery, workshops and requirements gathering
• Analysing current and future-state processes and customer journeys
• Breaking down complex initiatives into features, epics and user stories
• Supporting backlog refinement and prioritisation
• Identifying upstream and downstream impacts across systems and processes
• Working closely with Product Owners, Architects and Engineering teams
• Developing process maps, data flows and supporting analysis
• Supporting UAT, defect triage and go-live activities
• Contributing to continuous improvement across the squad and broader delivery environment
• Helping bring clarity to complex and ambiguous problem spaces

What we're looking for

We're looking for a genuinely strong Senior BA, rather than someone who is purely focused on documenting requirements.

You'll ideally have:

• Demonstrated success as a Senior BA, preferably within insurance or financial services
• Strong experience delivering digital transformation
• Experience working on digital platforms, portals or customer-facing technology
• Strong understanding of business processes, systems and technology
• Experience working across complex integrations and/or legacy environments
• Excellent requirements gathering and analysis skills
• Proven ability to understand end-to-end impacts and dependencies
• Confidence challenging requirements and asking the right questions
• Strong stakeholder management skills across business and technology
• Experience working closely with Product Owners, Architects and Engineers
• Strong Agile/Scrum delivery experience
