Are you a strategic finance professional who thrives on partnering with the business to drive decision-making and performance? We are looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join a brand-new, high-performing finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of financial planning, analysis, and business partnering for a large-scale infrastructure and property business undergoing transformation.
About the Role:
As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will play a critical role in providing financial insights, challenging assumptions, and supporting strategic decisions across the business. You will work closely with key stakeholders, including the CFO, executive leadership, and project teams, ensuring financial discipline, robust reporting, and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the finance lead for allocated business units, understanding their value drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Support commercial decisions with scenario analysis, business case development, and financial modelling.
- Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
- Lead the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and five-year planning processes in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Analyse revenue, costs, and capital expenditure, providing variance analysis and actionable insights.
- Design and implement improved reporting and KPI tracking to support business performance.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support investment decisions and evaluate commercial proposals.
- Utilise Anaplan and other planning systems to improve forecasting efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure accurate integration of financial data across systems and validate assumptions to drive actionable insights.
About You:
- CPA/CA/CIMA or CFA qualified.
- At least 7 years of business partnering experience, preferably in infrastructure, property, or large-scale construction.
- Strong experience in capital expenditure analysis, scenario modelling, and financial planning.
- Advanced Excel, business case development, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with commercial acumen, excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused, with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
