I'm partnering with a high-profile financial services organisation to appoint a hands-on Business Project Manager to drive customer growth, engagement and retention initiatives.
This is not an IT or technology project management role.
It is a business-led delivery role focused on commercial outcomes, pace, accountability and disciplined governance within a regulated environment.
The role:
You will work closely with senior leaders to translate growth strategy into practical, executable initiatives across:
- Customer engagement and retention programs
- Onboarding and lifecycle optimisation
- Sales effectiveness and conversion improvement
- Portfolio performance initiatives
- Cross-functional growth and operating model enhancements
You will lead delivery end-to-end - aligning stakeholders, maintaining governance discipline, managing risks and ensuring initiatives deliver measurable commercial impact.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead complex, business-led initiatives from concept through to execution
- Partner with senior stakeholders to drive alignment, clarity and accountability
- Manage the end-to-end pipeline of initiatives, including prioritisation, dependencies, risks and capacity impacts
- Prepare governance packs, track actions and ensure clear escalation and follow-through
- Oversee non-technology business change, including workforce impacts and transition planning
- Translate operational and financial data into clear recommendations that support decision-making
- Maintain disciplined control across risks, issues and milestones in a regulated financial services environment
- Ensure initiatives deliver sustainable customer and commercial outcomes
As the successful candidate, you will offer:
- Proven experience as a Business Project Manager / Business Delivery Lead
- Strong background in financial services or regulated environments
- Experience delivering customer growth, retention or engagement initiatives
- Confident communicator with executive presence
- Structured, governance-aware and commercially astute
- Able to challenge constructively and drive timely decision-making
- Outcome-focused - you care about measurable impact, not just project artefacts
