Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts in Japanese and English, including NDAs, business agreements, and procurement contracts.
- Manage compliance frameworks, including internal rules, training programs, and regulatory checks.
- Prepare shareholder meeting documents and support legal registrations.
- Assist with board of directors' meetings, including drafting notices, minutes, and handling registrations.
- Support stock option registration processes in coordination with HR.
- Assist in obtaining government permits and approvals for business operations.
- Collaborate with external legal professionals and advisors on complex legal matters.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education & Experience:

Graduation from a Japanese university law faculty or law school, or experience with the Japanese bar exam.

1-3 years of corporate legal experience in a company setting.
Technical & Professional Skills:
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills in Japanese and English.
- Experience supporting shareholder and board of directors' meetings under Japanese law.
- Business-level English proficiency and global communication skills.
Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work proactively and adapt in a fast-moving environment.
- Collaborative mindset with flexibility and maturity.
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Native level (essential for legal documentation and internal communication).
- English: Intermediate to business level (required for international collaboration).
