Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and operational excellence of high-volume Order Management systems within a Tier-1 telecom environment
- Architect and develop scalable Java-based microservices supporting complex BSS workflows
- Collaborate with business and engineering stakeholders to translate requirements into robust distributed architectures
- Provide senior technical oversight, mentorship, and guidance to ensure stability and performance of enterprise applications
- Drive integration of telecom BSS platforms with broader e-commerce and logistics ecosystems to improve customer experience
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 8-10 years of progressive technical experience as a Senior Engineer, Tech Lead, or L3 Support within the Telecommunications sector
- 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience building enterprise-grade distributed systems
- 5+ years of deep expertise in Telecom BSS, particularly Order Management solution design and integration
- Strong proficiency in microservices architecture and managing high-concurrency environments
Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and mentoring ability in senior engineering environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on operational stability
- Ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional global teams
Language Requirements:
- English: Business-level fluency required
- Japanese: Not mandatory, but beneficial for local stakeholder collaboration
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with real-time messaging systems including Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex L3 production issues in fast-paced environments
