In this role, you will collaborate closely with clients to understand their business needs and design innovative reinsurance and financial market solutions. You will contribute to transaction structuring, analysis, and execution while helping major insurers navigate complex risks, capital requirements, and evolving regulatory environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with insurance clients to identify needs and design tailored reinsurance and financial market solutions.
- Collaborate with internal deal teams and client project teams on transaction execution, analysis, and structuring.
- Develop client presentations and provide market insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify new market opportunities to drive business growth.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to understand evolving business needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in life insurance actuarial work, consulting, risk management, or product development.
- Knowledge of IFRS 17 and insurance-related financial frameworks.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills and strong interest in business development and client relationship management.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and presentation abilities.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Fluent.
- English: Fluent.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Understanding of financial products such as structured finance or derivatives.
- Experience in financial engineering, insurance consulting, or capital solutions.
