Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate monthly expense bookings to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Analyze cost data and monitor budget versus actual performance
- Prepare and present financial reports to management and key stakeholders
- Support budgeting and forecasting with accurate cost allocation inputs
- Respond to inquiries from internal teams, auditors, and external regulators
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial controls and reporting
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in finance functions
- Strong background in accounting, management accounting rules, and financial operations
Technical Skills:
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including handling large datasets and complex formulas
- Familiarity with in-house financial systems and IT tools
Soft Skills:
- Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail
- High compliance awareness and strong control mindset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all stakeholder levels
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Fluent
- English: Intermediate to Business level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in international banking or the securities industry
- Background in financial planning & analysis or management accounting
