Key Responsibilities

- Manage litigation cases and liaise with external legal counsel

- Act as a liaison between internal business units and legal/compliance departments
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of legal experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries
- Background in civil, commercial, and financial regulatory law
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to handle English-language contracts at a basic to intermediate level
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Intermediate to Business level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Legal experience in banking, securities, or insurance law
- In-house advisory background with exposure to litigation and risk mitigation
- Legal qualification such as Bengoshi or experience at VP level is a plus
