Senior Strategic Relationship Manager - Home Lending & Credit

We are recruiting for a unique opportunity with a leading financial services organisation, where you will manage a strategic partnership with one of Australia's largest banking institutions.

 

This role sits at the intersection of home lending, credit, risk and relationship management. You will act as a trusted partner, developing a deep understanding of your banking partner's priorities, challenges and objectives, and working collaboratively to identify opportunities and deliver value.

 

This is an opportunity for someone with strong lending or financial services experience to step into a broader strategic role, combining technical expertise, commercial insight and stakeholder engagement.

 

As the Strategic Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing a key banking partnership and acting as the link between your partner and internal teams.

Working with stakeholders across home lending, credit, risk, product and operations, you will provide insight, facilitate strategic conversations and help drive initiatives that improve business outcomes.

 

You will:

• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across a major banking institution.
• Develop a strong understanding of partner strategy, lending priorities and business objectives.
• Use data, market insights and industry knowledge to identify opportunities and challenges.
• Facilitate strategic discussions around lending performance, credit risk, portfolio trends and operational improvements.
• Coordinate internal teams to support partner outcomes and deliver agreed initiatives.
• Represent the voice of the partner internally, ensuring their priorities are reflected in business decisions.
• Lead reviews, workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• You may currently be working within banking, lending, credit, risk, analytics or financial services and are looking to broaden your impact through a relationship-focused role.

You will also demonstrate:

• A strong understanding of mortgage lending and credit processes.

• Strong communication, influencing and relationship management skills.
• A curious, proactive mindset and the ability to navigate complexity.
