We're looking for a creative and strategic communications professional to help deliver impactful marketing initiatives that inform and engage communities across NSW.
As the Senior Communications and Marketing Officer, you will play a key role in the development and delivery of integrated marketing programs, with a strong focus on visual storytelling and design. This role suits someone who brings together marketing know-how with hands-on graphic design expertise, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Develop and deliver end-to-end marketing and communications campaigns across digital and traditional channels
Design and produce high-quality marketing assets, including presentations, digital graphics, social media content, and printed collateral
Identify market trends and emerging opportunities to improve audience engagement and campaign reach
Collaborate with the events team on the design and execution of state-wide campaigns and public initiatives
Maintain campaign materials and assets, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand and accessibility guidelines
Monitor campaign performance and audience insights, providing data-driven recommendations for improvement
Proven experience in marketing and communications, ideally within government or complex stakeholder environments
Strong graphic design skills, with proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Canva
Exceptional written, visual, and presentation communication abilities
Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience working with brand guidelines and accessibility standards (WCAG)
A collaborative mindset with a keen eye for detail and continuous improvement
