SAP S - 4HANA Integration Coordinator - Consultant
About the job
Work on an urgent, large S/4 HANA upgrade from 1809 to 2025. This role is working for a consultancy, on a quasi-government client site, to deliver this urgent piece of work. This role will be starting ASAP and will run through until December this year, based in Sydney CBD, close to Public Transport. The S/4 HANA Integration Coordinator/Consultant will be responsible for the coordination of the analysis, remediation, testing and cutover execution of integrations impacted by the S/4HANA technical upgrade.
The role ensures all inbound/outbound interfaces continue to operate reliably post-upgrade, including middleware, IDocs, APIs, files and event based integrations. It will work closely with the SIT integration team, SAP ECS team, internal system support teams, alongside external integrated applications support teams during all phases of integration assessment and migration to BTP platform.

Candidates should have the following skills and experience:
- Significant experience in SAP integration roles - experience with any of the SAP middleware tools/technology platforms (BTP, SAP PO etc)
- Knowledge of SAP integration patterns - IDoc/ALE, RFC, BAPI, OData/REST/SOAP, file-based interfaces (SFTP), batch/job scheduling
- Working experience with at least one middleware platform - MuleSoft, Boomi, Tibco etc AIS will be an advantage
- Understanding of cloud technologies
- Knowledge of integration patterns, networking in Cloud will be a plus
- S/4HANA upgrades/technical upgrades or migration to BTP will be a bonus
- Strong stakeholder and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with multiple technical teams and external vendors
