About the Role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this position is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of payroll. This hands-on role covers all areas of payroll processing, including complex calculations, reporting, and compliance. You'll also play an active part in improving processes and supporting system enhancements as the organisation continues to evolve.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing full end-to-end monthly payroll.
- Managing payroll compliance, including PAYG, superannuation, and payroll tax.
- Calculating terminations, redundancies, parental leave, and bonus payments.
- Performing month-end reconciliations and preparing payroll journals.
- Supporting the annual remuneration and performance review cycles.
- Maintaining data integrity within the payroll system and employee self-service portal.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve payroll processes.
- Staying up to date with payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
About You
- 5+ years of end-to-end payroll experience in Australia.
- Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance.
- Exposure to payroll or finance systems such as NetSuite, Workday, or Oracle.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
