Finance Business Partner

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work closely with the Metering leadership team to provide insightful financial analysis, reporting, and commercial advice. This role is hands-on and requires someone who can quickly understand a complex operating environment and "hit the ground running."

You will support both operational finance and project deliverables, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial governance, and meaningful business insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Partnering & Commercial Support: Support the business through final due diligence activities related to the sale process, Translate financial data into actionable insights for operational leaders

• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) : Lead and support budgeting and forecasting processes, Deliver monthly reporting, variance analysis, and performance insights, Contribute to annual budget preparation.

• Reporting & Systems: Run month-end processes and reporting through SAP S/4HANA, Prepare, review, and analyse reports for business and group stakeholders, Support FDMA-related activities and ensure data integrity

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner or FP&A role

• Previous energy sector or commercial sector experience preferred.

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence non-financial stakeholders

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability

• Experience using at least one major finance system (SAP S/4HANA, TM1, or equivalent)
