Job Description

This leading bank is seeking an experienced Senior Risk Analyst to support the design and implementation of risk controls, for an initial 6 month contract based in Sydney CBD.

This leading Financial Institution is seeking a Risk Analyst for an initial 6 month contract based in Sydney CBD. In this role you will support the effective design and implementation of controls for all new and changing processes and operations.

Your Responsibilities:

• Contribute and support the effective design and implementation of controls for all new and changing processes and operations
• Undertake root cause analysis of issues and incidents, identifying and implementing control improvements
• Ensure data quality in/maintain various databases and contribute to the monthly management reporting
• Responsible for capturing risks in the Risk Profile (RCSA) and participate in Control Assurance Program (CAP) testing, including the development of test scripts
• Support reporting on Operational Risk and control profiles, issues, incidents and other matters and identify areas for continuous improvement of the business control environment by using data to generate insights

Skills and Experience:

• 2-5 years of experience in financial services.
• Experience in a line 1 risk role.
• Experience with risk controls and CAP testing.
