Support the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of a range of marketing projects to support the delivery of the NSW Cancer Plan.
This leading Government Department is seeking a Project Officer for a 6 month contract, based in St Leonards. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of a range of marketing projects, contracts and services to contribute to the achievement of the Screening and Prevention Programs within the division.
Manage and / or contribute to, the scoping, development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of marketing and advertising campaigns and projects.
Develop and maintain all campaign and project management documentation, including detailed social marketing plans, advertising submissions, briefs, and project scopes.
Manage assigned projects (and associated stakeholder expectations) from concept phase to project closure, ensuring the achievement of agreed targets within the allocated timeframe and budget.
Collaborate with the Procurement & Project Governance Coordinator and Social Marketing and Campaigns Portfolio Managers to procure services from external agencies (including advertising, public relations, media buying agencies and consultants) and manage contract arrangements.
Day to day management of campaign budgets.
Social media community management escalations.
Experience in marketing with an understanding of developing, implementing and evaluating advertising campaigns across multiple channels.
Experience working with creative and media agencies.
Demonstrated social media experience, including content planning, community management and media optimisation.
Background within Government or Health is desirable.
