An exciting opportunity for an experienced project officer to work with a leading Government Department, based in Parramatta.
This leading Government Department is seeking a Project Officer for a contract until June 30th, based in Parramatta. In this role you will be responsible for providing project support with various administrative functions including status updates, reports, budgets, arranging meetings.
Undertake tasks that contribute to the design, implementation and coordination of projects that deliver effective business unit outcomes and meet client service delivery needs in a changing and uncertain environment.
Collaborate with team members to undertake research and analysis to contribute to the development of key projects that ensure good business outcomes.
Support the project with various administrative functions including status updates, reports, budgets, arranging meetings.
Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in government is preferred.
Coordination and logistics (stakeholder surveys, event management).
Comms and strong writing skills.
Research and analysis.
Problem solving for systems solutions and efficiencies.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
