About the role

Great opportunity for an experienced Privacy/ Legal professional to lead the management of our client's Group's privacy obligations, including the integration of Privacy within the Group's strategic and business priorities to support the responsibilities of the Group Privacy Officer.

  • As a Privacy Manager, you will be coordinating compliance with the Group Privacy Framework across the global business' Divisional stakeholders; leading multi-division Privacy Impact Assessments and supporting with global privacy training and awareness.
  • Manage and maintain strong and effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders to promote awareness and understanding of privacy risk and compliance.

The successful candidate

  • 5+ years' privacy compliance/risk management/ legal experience in Australia and/or EU/ UK in Privacy with a strong understanding of Australian Privacy and EU/ UK privacy legislative framework
  • Strong knowledge of key privacy compliance risk concepts and risk management frameworks.
  • Experience (or aptitude for) maintaining and developing risk and compliance systems/technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including senior leaders.
  • Ability to represent Group Privacy and Group Compliance at global forums, across various time zones.
  • Ability to confidently present complex privacy issues in a digestible way to senior stakeholders across the global business.
