Job Description

Flexible role with a leading consulting organisation, working on a high profile data migration project from Teradata to MSBI.

Role: Business Intelligence Business Analyst (BI BA)

Salary: up to $130k base

Location: CBD, Sydney - (SQL / Teradata)

My client a global consulting organisation, is looking for a strong BI Developer with exceptional client facing skills. The BI Business Analyst will be hired on a permanent basis, to be successful in this role you will have a background working with Big Data platforms like Teradata and an excellent working knowledge of ETL solution design. You will be working on a technical migration project; mapping requirements, providing hands on coding solutions SQL and managing stakeholders. Ideally you will have knowledge of joining multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop ETL solutions - Teradata experience highly desirable
  • Manage stakeholder requirements and deliverables
  • Document existing and new data transfer processes, data models and visualizations in line with standards

Experience

  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or other numeric discipline
  • Strong SQL experience, Teradata
  • Experienced in data warehouse design, ETL development, OLAP design
  • Experience with GAP Analysis, Requirement Gathering
  • Knowledge of Tableau
