Job Description

Lead UX design for Asia-based fintech company


  • Set strategy and design direction for the company's products in Japan, while working with the existing team, and getting buy-in on new ideas from the business leaders
  • Bring in new ideas and approaches to get users interacting with the product in Japan
  • Manage the creative process from concept to completion
  • Manage a constant flow of strong designs (both by doing and by leading) in a fast-changing environment
  • Hire and mentor junior team members

Required skills

  • Native or fluent Japanese skills (including spoken and written), business English or higher
  • 7+ years of experience with UX Design, including concept development, persona development, executing workshops, setting up brand identity etc
  • Ability to work comfortably with a variety of design related software programs, such as Photoshop, Figma, Sketch, and others
  • Strong presentation skills, including to business stakeholders
  • Experience managing a team of junior designers
