Payments (fintech) company from Europe looking for a strong, hands-on UX Designer for their global team
Design product layouts and experiences for Japanese customers to interact with the payments system
Consult clients on all aspects of User Experience from branding to visual design, and experience design as well as information architecture
Work with cross functional teams, as well as with the global and regional team of existing UX Designers, Researchers, and Product Managers to develop the right design strategies for the Japan market
Through an understanding of design tools and methodologies (segments, personas, etc) you will develop various approaches for each of the target audiences
Support business decision-making though collaborating with them from a design perspective

Fluent command of Japanese (including spoken and written) or native, fluent English
4 years or more of hands-on experience designing customer experiences and interactions
Experience with localization for Japan market
Strong design portfolio, showcasing both process and execution of various assignments
Proficiency with typical design tools such as Figma
Experience with client-facing role, including consulting, highly preferred
Experience facilitation design workshops with users
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
Strong interest in Fintech and banking solutions
Team player, able to work with people from different backgrounds
