Job Description
Expansion/projects planned; financial institution searching for professional to perform project management/business analysis duties across number of initiatives in Japan and wider Asia region
Roles/Responsibilities
- The organisation is expanding its business in Japan, developing new product lines and financial solutions for clients and needs a senior project manager to work with senior leadership to ensure its success.
- Analyze processes and systems to determine the best operating model for change initiatives, taking into consideration factors like technology, legal, finance, workflow, etc.
- Clarify and communicate business needs to secure buy-in from all stakeholders.
- Compile detailed documentation for proposals with input from involved parties.
- Lead the technical and business process changes and oversee project implementation.
- Maintain control over the post-implementation environment to ensure effective feedback loops and the ongoing success.
Required skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing complex projects across diverse business areas and domains.
- In-depth understanding of Japan's equity market and products, including cash equities, electronic trading, prime services, SBL, and equity swaps. Knowledge of fixed income is a plus.
- Fluency in English (native or fluent level) is required. Proficiency in Japanese is highly desirable.
