M&A Advisory (Cross-border) - No M&A Experience Needed 第二新卒歓迎

Job Description

Advisory position at one of the leading boutique M&A firms with offices in 13 countries all around the world.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Support Japanese companies with their expansion into the overseas market through the M&A process all the way from sourcing to closing
  • Conduct market research and help the clients with finding their local partners, identify sellers in the target country (mainly ASEAN)
  • Create and present M&A proposals to the buy-side (Japanese clients) and help with deal negotiations
  • Collaborate and maintain relationships with business partners and company offices in ASEAN, Oceania, and Europe

Required skills

  • Ability to write reports, translate documents and effectively conduct client meetings in both Japanese (JLPT N2/N1) and English (Business/Native level)
  • Background in B2B sales (min. 1-2 years); no specific industry experience needed

Preferred skills

Either one of the following:

  • Financial knowledge
  • Experience working at a tax corporation or an accounting firm (CPA certification etc.)
  • Experience in international business, working on cross-border transactions

  • Interest in M&A Advisory
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
  • Open to new challenges, motivated to find tasks on his/her own instead of waiting for the instructions
  • Ability to travel outside Japan for business trips
  • Logical thinker with great communication skills
