Job Description
[Perm role] - Drive Agile Transformation with a new team in a global pharma company
Roles/Responsibilities
- Facilitate the setup and growth of Scrum teams, promoting their self-organization and autonomy.
- Introduce and implement agile practices and processes in product development, including DevOps methodologies.
- Foster an agile mindset within the organization through education and training for leadership and managers.
- Plan and execute change management initiatives to embed an agile culture within the organization.
- Support operational aspects related to Scrum teams, such as OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and designing/implementing HR systems.
- Stay updated on the latest agile trends and case studies, driving their adoption within the organization.
Required skills
- 8+ years of demonstrated experience in Agile methodologies and practices.
- Proven track record in coaching and supporting teams through Agile transformations.
- Familiarity with DevOps and other agile product development practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to influence and inspire organizational change.
- Ability to design and execute change management plans.
- Experience working with large-scale frameworks such as LeSS or Scrum@Scale (Certification beneficial).
- Fluency in Japanese (both written and spoken), as well as intermediate level English or higher.
Preferred skills
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biopharma, or medical industries is a plus.
- Coaching certifications such as RST (Registered Scrum Trainer) or SAFe Program Consultant.
- DevOps-related certifications or skills.
- Experience with test-driven development (ATDD/BDD).
