This an opportunity for a seasoned Test Lead to join a large, complex organisation that provides beneficial outcomes for thousands of people each year within NSW. The Test Lead will be working across multiple IT projects.
The role will start ASAP and will initially run through until December 2026, with a hybrid working environment. This role is based in Macquarie Park, close to the Metro and other public transport options.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with internal teams and vendors to define testing environment requirements, including provisioning timelines, configuration needs, and dependencies.
- Determining test data requirements, including sourcing, ownership, sensitivity classification, masking needs, and permissions required for use within test environments.
- Ensuring appropriate access controls are in place for test environments, particularly where sensitive or restricted data is involved.
- Assessing opportunities for shared test environments across projects or BAU activity, identifying constraints, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Establishing, managing, and governing test entry and exit criteria to ensure readiness for each testing phase.
- Provide assurance reporting to support stage-gate approvals and programme governance processes.
- Monitor environment and data readiness risks, escalating issues that may impact delivery timelines or testing effectiveness.
Experience required:
- Solid experience as a Test Lead, on large technology projects
- Experience working with both internal team and external vendors
- Strong experience in test planning, alongside determining test data requirements
- Proven experience in testing governance
