Exciting opportunity for a Technical Writer to join a well-known government corporation. This role will focus on delivering technical learning resources around a new software platform being utilised within the organisation.

This is an initial contract for 6 months, and will follow a Hybrid work set up - Parramatta (1-2 days) and WFH.

Rate is up to $850 per day + super.

About the Job:

• Develop technical learning documents to support implementation of new systems / platforms.
• Design consistent, complete and technically accurate materials within relevant timeframes
• Creating and maintaining user manuals including release notes, scripts, training materials, troubleshooting articles, and conceptual overviews for a variety of stakeholders
• Ensure documents compliance
• Ability to run train the trainer sessions with SMEs.

About You:

• 3+ years' experience working in a similar role within a large and complex organisation
• Highly technical bacgkround and experience in developing resources around new systems, and/or platforms
• Strong ability to capture and understand information, and document existing and new IT processes
• Can turn complex information into resources that are easy to understand and digest
• Learning and training background is an advantage
