About the role
You will be expected to demonstrate commitment to meeting critical deadlines and producing highly accurate output. You will perform a risk insights function that provides oversight and insight in relation to the explanation of credit metrics associated with capital. You will oversee delivering expert advice and service, as well as collaborating with our business partners and creating long-term value for the business and its customers.
-Prepare and review credit report risk disclosures
-Ensure Compliance and provide modeling reporting and insight analysis
-Reporting using RWA/ECL movements and explaining variances with forecasts
-Ensure all Capital & Provisioning reporting & insights are delivered with robust governance
-Identifying the levers impacting ECL numbers and building capability to include these in scenario calculators
-Provide expert knowledge and work with the Data Integration team to design and build dashboards
Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, multiple teams and regulatory authorities.
-Deliver process improvements, including automation in relation to analytics and reporting workflows.
-Basel 2/3 and AASB9 required
-APS 112, 113, 220, IFRS 9 certification
-Comfortable in programming using R/Python/SAS
-Excellent written and communication skills
-High attention to detail
-Ability to confidently express ideas and findings
-Time management with the ability to work independently or in teams
-Understanding of AASB 9 is desirable
-CA/CPA qualifications preferred
-Financial Services experience will be preferred
