About the role:

  • Responsible for providing secure, reliable and high quality IT infrastructure, policies and procedures.
  • Responsibility for Servers, Virtualization and Storage services within the organisation
  • Assist in developing IT Networking & Infrastructure solutions and contribute to the development of overall IT Strategy
  • Liaise with the business to communicate IT capaibility and required resources for upcoming projects
  • Monitor IT availability against SLAs and regularly develop & maintain monitoring capability and perform optimizations task to improve the overall capability and performance of the IT Systems
  • Maintain and monitor physical and virtual servers for storage and backup infrastructure
  • Ensure hardware and software applications and network components are working to established technical and operational standards
  • Lead and coordinate service requests for provisions, installing, operating and upgrading of IT infrastructure systems

About you:

  • Expert experience with Virtualization (VMWare - Virtual Centre, ESX/ESXi, SAN)
  • Expert understanding of Wintel and Linux Operating Systems
  • Expert experience with designing, developing & administering the Microsoft suite of products (Active Directory, Group Policy, BackOffice, Exchange, IIS. SCCM/CM)
  • Commercial experience with introducing monitoring capability for enterprise-level releases
  • Experience managing small but high performing teams is desirable
