Job Description
Technical / ICT Business Analyst to join a high-profile government department to deliver a huge cyber security uplift project
Great opportunity for a dedicated and committed technical Business Analyst to join a high-profile government department based in Eveleigh. This ICT business analyst role will help deliver a huge cyber security uplift project, and will mainly be responsible in identifying,
reviewing and documenting business requirements that align to the scope to improve business systems, and to align solutions with business requirements, organisational strategies and plans.
Hybrid work set up - at least once a week in the Eveleigh office and work from home
This is for a contract role initially until the end of June 2023, with likelihood to extend.
Rate is up to $800 per day + super.
About the Job:
- Collaborate with the product teams to write business requirements, Features, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, facilitate stakeholder meetings, interviews or workshops to gather and refine requirements
- Liaising with team members regarding work in progress, clarification of requirements and suggest prioritisation (collaborating with Product Owner)
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Product Owners to analyse date to assist with team decision making and validate or disprove hypothesis
About You:
- Previous experience in a similar capacity as a technical business analyst supporting large scale ICT infrastructure deployment / implementation / delivery projects within the Australian public / government sector
- Security development experience and security management systems background is highly preferred
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong requirements gathering and analysis skills
- Proficiency in multiple tech fronts and platforms such as Windows Enterprise Services,Windows Server Hyper V and virtualisation systems, Linux, are nice to have
