An exciting opportunity for a business analyst to work for a leading Government Insurance Agency for a 6 month contract.
This leading Government Department is seeking a Business Process Analyst for a 6 month contract, based in Sydney CBD. In this role you will perform review, analyse and document already identified core processes in operational performance.
Analyse and document existing processes (and associated systems, policies, applications and functions).
Undertake any necessary qualitative and quantitative research to identify best practice.
Build and maintain key relationships with process owners, task owners, users, technical staff and stakeholders to document processes and to determine relevant gaps and improvements.
Provide accurate advice about technical issues and solutions to assist with specifying business requirements for new or existing solutions.
Provide reports as required, including status reports and progress reports.
Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of business analysis techniques and practices to ensure that an effective service is provided to the business.
Present back findings to key stakeholders for further action on process remediation and controls.
A range of experience in business analysis, process mapping and documentation in complex environments.
Experience in developing high quality process documentation in any process mapping tool.
