My Advice

My advice would be to always ensure that you have key achievements on your CV. Hiring managers enjoy seeing where you have added to the company or achieved something exceptional. Adding a achievement to your CV can make it more personal and gives a potential employer more of a insight about you and your capabilities in that role. In an interview, make sure you are fully prepared, do your research on the company and be the one they remember!

My Background

I feel into recruitment as a career, 6 months after having my daughter I was itching to go back to work, mainly for some adult conversation! Working as a Centre Manager for a serviced office one of my main responsibilities there was selling the office space, whilst doing so one of the clients tempted me into the world of recruitment. I worked at that agency for a year focusing on IT resourcing however realised that I wanted to be a part of a bigger business that could provide me with the career path that I spend all day talking to candidates about. 

I joined Morgan McKinley in July 2015 where I took on a Accountancy and Finance desk specialising in the Thames Valley, Middlesex and Surrey areas. I have spent this time building valuable relationships with finance professionals within the area. I now predominately specialise in commercial finance roles within the following sectors; telco, aviation, pharma, leisure and utilities. I enjoy building key relationships where I understand what someone is looking for in terms of a job and then in the future in terms of a candidate.
