My Advice

My advice to candidates is to always reflect on your career and steer it in the right direction. Whether you are actively looking for a new position or not, being aware of your value in the market will help you to advocate yourself either internally or externally. Set yourself goals and a roadmap to help you achieve them. If opportunities aren't available in your current company, don't be afraid to look outside for other roles that will help you in your journey.

My Background

My background is within education and customer facing roles. However, after learning more about the recruitment industry, it fired a passion to help people and companies fulfil their wants and needs, whilst also making a great career for myself. Therefore, I decided to switch my career path to a recruiter in 2021 and luckily got the opportunity to participate in the fast track development program in Morgan McKinley Singapore.
