As part of our Future Leaders series, Morgan McKinley Japan will be partnering with the Tokyo Accounting College (TAC) to host an information seminar on May 20th at 17:30.
Purpose: To provide in-depth information about how a job applicant can use the US CPA qualification in the job market. Topics include: in-demand industries; positions and career paths available; the value of the US CPA versus other qualifications; how hiring managers see the US CPA; using the US CPA for a mid-career change.
Event Date: Saturday 20th May (Event start: 17:30 - 19:00)
Venue: TAC School, Shibuya (will send map to confirmed attendees)
Language: Japanese and English (Morgan McKinley has native Japanese staff knowledgeable about the US CPA) but most of the presentations will be done in Japanese.
Entitled “How to make use of the US CPA in Japan”, the event will hear from current US CPA holders about how this qualification has helped them in their careers to date. The speakers will be introduced by the MMK Finance and Accounting team and cover a variety of different industries and experience levels.
The presentation will be followed by a Questions and Answers session as well as an opportunity to network and find out more about market trends and what we feel is in store for the rest of 2017.
The event is open to everyone, qualified and part qualified US CPAs as well as those considering how this qualification can help their career are all welcome to attend.
