Global Paymets Project Manager

A highly established and growing client of Morgan McKinley's is currently arranging interviews with Project Managers with a high amount of exposure to the global financial services space, ideally possessing successful large scale global payments project delivery.

To be considered for this role, you will be able to showcase your global cross border payments project knowledge. If you have previously worked for Global Banking or Funds & Asset Management companies, we would like to arrange a call with you this week.

Your Experience;

  • Experience of working in global payments, for globally recognised banking institutions.
  • First-hand involvement in vendor onboarding
  • In depth knowledge of payments regulations and it's impact relating to payment flows
  • Global Financial Services background
  • High level knowledge of end-to-end payments exposure involving; client > channels > payment validation and processing > cash movement & account structuring
  • Minimum of 5 years practical experience in delivering projects / programme in a global payments environment
  • Knowledge of Foreign Exchange pricing and services
  • Experience of implementing, under the area of project execution
  • Certified Programme / Project Manager

  • Strong leadership skills with an ability to negotiate, organise and influence key stakeholders in all functions across multiple teams
  • Effective and structured communication style, harnessing a clear approach, ability to tailor messages to the relevant audience
  • Strong team leading abilities, in order to build a project team from scratch across multiple locations, while building strong relationships with sponsors and engaging stakeholders
  • Excellent planning skills with a passion for building project plans and presenting a critical path, highlighting aspects such as risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills that bring the relevant teams together to identify and fin solutions to any and all issues that can potentially impact projects and programmes
  • Experience presenting to board and C Suite level
